The course is for CET IIB. It teaches advanced optical and microscopic techniques for product assessment and online control.
[edit] Aims
- Introduce state-of-the-art measurement concepts based on optical techniques.
- Teach fundamentals of light-matter interactions, introduce relevant technology.
- Techniques covered: Absorption, spectrofluorometry, Fourier Transform Spectroscopy, fluorescence microscopy, electron and *atomic force microscopy.
- Show plenty of real-world applications and interactive examples.
