The course is for CET IIB. It teaches advanced optical and microscopic techniques for product assessment and online control.

[edit] Aims

  • Introduce state-of-the-art measurement concepts based on optical techniques.
  • Teach fundamentals of light-matter interactions, introduce relevant technology.
  • Techniques covered: Absorption, spectrofluorometry, Fourier Transform Spectroscopy, fluorescence microscopy, electron and *atomic force microscopy.
  • Show plenty of real-world applications and interactive examples.
